What sort of food is served at camp?
Allergies such as Gluten, lactose, eggs etc can all be catered for, and we ensure that any children with dietary requirements are fed first to ensure they get the correct meal.
Does my child have to participate in all the activities?
Our instructors will always encourage and support students to participate in the activities to maximise their camp experience. We do apply a “challenge by choice” policy, so students can achieve their individual goals.
Are you instructors qualified to run the activities?
All our instructors are fully qualified and trained to the highest standards, operating within our standard operating procedures written in accordance with the national framework.
My child cannot swim, can they still participate in water activities?
During water activities such as canoeing and raft building, all participants are required to wear a personal flotation device or P.F.D. Water activities always have a minimum of 2 instructors as well as a teacher and have a maximum group of 30 participants. We also offer Zorb balls as a water activity, this activity does not require a flotation device as the participant only gets a little bit wet and the pool is less than 30cm deep.
Who takes care of my child's medication?
Distribution of any medication is the sole responsibility of the teachers, instructional camp staff will no allocate, administer or distribute medication to any child.
